Long guitar freakouts bookend I Am Not Afraid of You.... The Story of Yo La Tango is the suitably epic closer, which could be mistaken for a career summation if it weren't for the silly name. Of course, they're not a band so easily summarised. Douglas Wolk says Pass the Hatchet, I Think I'm Goodkind, the opener, is their "Tomorrow Never Knows", and yet isn't implying its eleven minute length is excessive. Ira should get into a Guitar Hero game any century now.
