1996 Songs of the Year

The 1996 list ran to 331 songs (#331: The Dave Matthews Band, "Satellite"). This contained my most embarrassing listmaikng faux pas ever: I put the Spice Girls' "Wannabe", I song I LOVED, at #252 (between Republica's "Ready to Go" and the Headless Chickens' "Super Trouper") -- the only song on the lsit that's better is Throw's "Honeyblonde" at #130 (but it was #2 the previous year).
